Carson Ellis

Last week, when I posted about The Unfortunate Demise of Whitley Rackham, I should’ve mentioned it’s one of a handful of book projects that Colin and I are collaborating on.  As of this week, I’m also working in earnest on a picture book for HarperCollins tentatively titled A Message for Albert, another project with Colin that’s been in the works for years but has been continuously skipped over in favor of books with more unyielding deadlines.  Anyway, I’m really excited about it.  It’s set in 1920s Butte, Montana and features a talking cat.  Since I’m starting work on it now, I’d say it’ll be out…sometime next fall, maybe?
