New Work for Sale
I have flat files filled with art – like, hundreds of drawings. I’m never sure what to do with them – how to sell them or if I even should – so they just sit there, often for years. Luckily my friend May at Nationale has decided to help me sell some of them. She hand-picked 9 drawings and is selling them for pretty reasonable prices (adjusted for the catastrophic art market downturn). They’re all original pieces – mostly odds and ends, ranging from tiny to bigger, from recent to many years old. I’ll post one here.
For more information, contact May or visit the flickr page she set up to view all available original art. And take a look at the Nationale blog, while you’re at it. Nationale is a tiny shop and gallery in Portland selling a meticulously curated collection of books, magazines, music, second hand accessories, french niceties, and art. May, the proprietess, is wonderful and french and she’ll treat you sweet and might wrap your purchase up fancy even if you’re only buying a bar of soap.
